Fenway Park

I may be a Yankees fan, but every baseball fan has to appreciate Fenway Park. The ballpark has been the home of the Boston Red Sox since 1912. It is the oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball.

Because of its age and constrained location in Boston’s dense Fenway–Kenmore neighborhood, the park has been renovated many times, resulting in features like “Pesky’s Pole” and the Green Monster.

The Red Sox were playing the Milwaukee Brewers. Our seats were out in the right field.

It was a great time and I was glad to finally catch a game at Fenway. It’s been a long Saturday so far, but we weren’t ready to call it a night quite yet. We went to a couple nearby bars after the game until the infamous early last call.

September 2014 – I would end up coming back to Fenway a couple more times to watch the Red Sox take on the New York Yankees!
