Escargot and Lobster at Bardot Brasserie

I enjoyed an incredible 311 concert during my first night in Vegas and I was going back again tonight, but first I had to refuel with some good food and drinks. I decided to have brunch at Bardot Brasserie inside ARIA Resort & Casino.

The French brasserie by Chef Michael Mina puts a twist on classic French cuisine. I snagged an open seat at the polished central bar.

There’s never a bad time for a cocktail, especially in Vegas! I enjoyed the Sprtiz with orange blossom liquor topped with prosecco.

I started off with the Escargots Bardot. The cooked snails were inside puff pastry shells and had toasted hazelnuts and chartreuse garlic butter. They were tasty little bites.

For my entree, I went with the Maine Lobster Scramble. The chunks of lobster sat on top of scrambled eggs with Bloomsdale spinach, piperade (a typical Basque dish of sauteed peppers and tomatoes flavored with red pepper), fresh basil, cherry tomatoes, and chickpea fries.

Brunch was pretty good and service was spot on. I walked along the strip afterwards and stopped by the colorful Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. The sky-lit atrium features vibrant seasonal scenes composed of flowers, plants, and trees.

After the conservatory and botanical gardens and walking around the strip, I headed back to the hotel to relax for a bit and get ready for the show later that night to celebrate 311 Day!
