As much as I love craft beer, I also enjoy a great cocktail! I went to another wonderful bar that ended up becoming a favorite while I was in Cleveland. Inside the Metropolitan at The 9 Hotel is an incredible cocktail bar called Vault.
The century-old bank vaults beneath the Cleveland Trust Rotunda are home to a nice upscale craft cocktail lounge where over 30 handcrafted cocktails fashioned by resident mixologists and a unique small plate menu are offered.
The place was gorgeous and the cocktails were great. Each vault was individually designed to create a different ambiance. I really enjoyed the live music and energetic vibe.
The food menu offers tasty creations from their chef using locally sourced meats, cheese, and produce. I tried the Porchetta Petites with local pork, gremolata aioli, Pecorino Romano, and celery leaf on a warm baguette. It was delicious!
Vault has officially been added to my list of all-time favorite bars! The service, ambiance, cocktails, and food were all wonderful. My mixologist was amazing and charming. He even made a couple custom cocktails according to my tastes. Thank you, Vault!
