I have to say, for a chain restaurant, Ruth’s Chris was a solid steak house. I went down to Atlantic City for the weekend to see Tiesto at Borgata. I’ve never been to Ruth’s Chris and decided to give it a shot.
I ordered a vodka cocktail called the Gucci Slingback. It was made with vodka, fresh lime juice, raspberries, and club soda. It was tasty and refreshing. I swear I didn’t order 3 more of these.
For an appetizer, I tried the Maryland-style Crab Cake made with jumbo lump crab meat.
You really saw the lumps of meat and there wasn’t much filler. Not bad at all.
For dinner, I ordered the 22 oz bone-in Cowboy Ribeye medium rare.
It was cooked perfectly and it was pretty tender. The steaks here are not dry aged, but it still had good flavor.
For a side, I went with the sweet potato casserole. The pecan crust added a nice crunch to the creamy sweet potato.
I really have no complaints about my dinner at Ruth’s Chris. The service was great too. I’m glad I finally tried it. The night was just getting started and I was off to Borgata.
