So my sister and I had to check out Eataly! It’s a huge Italian marketplace located near Madison Square Park in the Flatiron district. It’s brought to you by Eataly in Italy and Batali & Bastianich Hospitality Group, a partnership including Mario Batali, Lidia Bastianich and Joe Bastianich.

Aged Parmesan Reggiano
The place is over 50,000 square feet in size. It offers all different kinds of stores, restaurants, specialty items, cookbooks, wines, and food vendors under one roof.

Parmesan Wheels
We walked around and around. It can get pretty crowded, but it didn’t seem to phase me. I was distracted by all the marvelous sights and smells.

Samples!
Everything looked so good!

This place was a bit overwhelming at first. The selection of high quality authentic Italian foods and ingredients is worth checking out. I know I’ll be back here again and again.
