After a few drinks and a crabby lunch, it was time to head to Camden Yards. Oriole Park, or simply Camden Yards, was walking distance from the restaurant and everybody was getting ready to head in for the game. The park is situated in downtown Baltimore, a few blocks west of the Inner Harbor in the Camden Yards Sports Complex. Home to the Baltimore Orioles, it is the first of the “retro” major league ballparks constructed during the 1990s and early 2000s, and remains one of the most highly praised.
The O’s would take the game. It was a good time and I’m glad I made it to Camden Yards. Now it was time to head to Fells Point for some bar hopping!
I ended up going back to Baltimore the following year with a few girlfriends to see the Yankees and Orioles once again!
I can’t believe I missed these yummy crab fries the first time around.
