The following morning I decided to check out Bloemenmarkt, the world’s only floating flower market. The various flower stalls are on houseboats and offer a huge variety of flowers and tulips.

After wandering around for a it, it was time for breakfast. I had to try some poffertjes (mini pancakes). Located adjacent to the flower market was a small cafe called Studio 2. I sat a small table outside and order a plate of those little Dutch pancakes. They were served with butter and powdered sugar.

I topped them off with some sweet Dutch syrup. It was a simple and tasty breakfast.

After breakfast, I walked along the street and checked out a couple stores. I came upon a cheese store. I had to go inside and try some samples!
