Athens Fish Spa
You’ll see these all over Greece. I actually only had the chance to try it after we came back to Athens for a couple nights before flying back home. I wasn’t too crazy about the ones that were out in the open along the busy streets with tons of people passing by, so I found the Athens Fish Spa located on the first floor of a quiet building.
Kitty
The place was actually very nice and clean. You’re asked to wash your feet in a separate area before dunking your feet in the tanks of little fishies.
Tickles
Having a bunch of little fish biting your toes feels really, really weird. It tickles quite a bit, but you kind of get used to it…until they nip in between your toes!
Fish Pedicure
It’s supposedly a way of exfoliating and getting rid of dead skin. Gross? Kind of. Unsanitary? Maybe. A fun experience? Absolutely!
Between the Toes
I just had to try it. I must say my feet felt nice and silky smooth after the fish pedicure! 😉
