I have vague memories of the Reading Terminal  Market. It’s been so long, I made sure not to miss it during this weekend in Philly. The historic indoor market offers a large variety of foods, baked goods, Amish specialties, seafood, meat, produce, kitchen ware, and everything else you need to enjoy or make a meal.
The market is located along 12th and Arch streets with several entrances.
The restaurants and foods range from salads to doughnuts, Cajun to Chinese, and area specialties like cheesesteaks, pretzels, and roast pork sandwiches.
It’s impossible to try everything in one weekend. I only had a chance to check it out Saturday morning before the hockey game, but I’ll be sure to come back next time!
The Reading Terminal market should not be missed when in Philadelphia. Get here early for an early Dutch breakfast and freshly made goodies or come by for a variety of hearty sandwiches and dishes for lunch.
