If it’s your first time in Chicago, you should really check out the Wendella Architecture Boat Tour. I held off for a few days and was lucky enough to have beautiful sunny weather during my last day. Perfect! This sightseeing company started back in 1935 and run multiple boat tours from late April to early October. There are a few architecture tours out there, but Wendella is the original and best.
There are a bunch of times to choose from, so go to their site for availability and tickets. I just decided to go after my lunch at Cafe Central. I went down to the ticket booth and bought a ticket for the 3:30pm tour.
I didn’t know what to expect from this tour and I was really impressed. Chicago has some really cool buildings and amazing architecture. The guides were very informative. Be sure to include this 75-minute tour on your itinerary.
