There were plenty of restaurants near our hotel in Chiang Mai, but there was one place we returned to over and over again because the food was super fresh and tasty. Dada Kafe made for a wonderful breakfast and lunch. They also had plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans.
It was a small cafe serving homemade dishes and specialties. They offered plenty of fruit and vegetable smoothies, juices, and teas. They even grow their own wheatgrass if you’re into that sort of thing, as well as homemade peanut butter. Yum!
They open around 9am, so we decided to check it out for breakfast one morning. I ordered the mushroom omelet with cheese. It was served with a small side salad of cucumbers, onions, and tomatoes.
My sister went with the yogurt bowl topped with cereal, nuts, and fruit.
We also had to try a couple fruit smoothies and juices. It was all very good.
We enjoyed our breakfast so much, we returned for lunch the next day! I couldn’t resist a refreshing glass of Thai iced tea.
My sister had the avocado toast. They were generous with the avocado and it was extremely fresh.
I had the chicken pad see ew complete with lots of veggies.
Okay, so we went back one last time! Our last meal at Dada before heading to the airport and leaving lovely Chiang Mai. The spring rolls were excellent and served hot out of the fryer.
The curry fried rice with chicken was delicious!
My sister really enjoyed the massaman curry with a side of purple rice. It was her favorite version of the entire trip.
This place is a must-try if you’re in Chiang Mai. Friendly service and excellent food with plenty of vegan options. We’re big fans!
