A 15-minute walk from the Gaylord Opryland Resort brought me to the Grad Ole Opry House. The weekly country music stage concert was founded on November of 1925. It’s been called the “home of American music†and “country’s most famous stage”. The venue may have changed over the years, but it continues to hosts some of the biggest names in country music like Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, and Brad Paisley. The Opry is an American icon and Nashville’s number one attraction.
I may not be big on country music, but thought the Daytime Backstage Tour would be worth seeing. It was an opportunity to spend an hour on the other side of the famous red curtain and explore the private areas rarely seen by anyone but the top artists in country music. I even had the chance to step on stage and into the famed wooden circle. Pics below!
