After a late night at The Sugar House, I still managed to get up at a decent time and went to the Dime Store for breakfast. The bright airy eatery serves scratch-made breakfast and offers brunch favorites with a creative spin.

It was really busy, but luckily I didn’t wait too long for a spot at the bar.

I was in the mood for one of their hash creations. I decided to order the Duck Bop.

Duck Bop Hash
All their hashes are made with house breakfast potatoes and over easy eggs with an toasted english muffin on the side.

House-Confit Duck Leg
The Duck Bop hash had house-confit duck leg, onions, spinach, bulgogi, pickled veggies, and sriracha. The hearty dish was filling and tasted great.

After some much-needed grub, I felt so much better. It was game day and I couldn’t wait to check out Joe Louis Arena later!
