After my yummy tonkatsu lunch, I met up with my sister so we could head to the art museum. But first, we had to stop for a sweet fluffy treat at Jewelry Candy.

Jewelry Candy Shop
The small shop serves up some deliciously colorful cotton candy. I haven’t had cotton candy in years, but apparently my sister is a big fan of it.

Spinning
It was so soft and fluffy and made a great snack while we walked over to the Gion district.

We couldn’t avoid getting a couple new capsule toys on our way there!

Yayoi Kusmama’s art has been all the rage lately. Her My Soul Forever exhibit came to Kyoto where a selection of 82 works, including a mix of original pieces created between 1950 and 2008 and reprints from 1979 to 1990, are on display at the Forever Museum of Contemporary Art in Gion.

The Pumpkin Forever exhibit is currently taking place until February 29, 2019.

After seeing all her unqiue and colorful displays, we took some time to see the beautiful garden.

What do you do when the museum has a lovely Japanese garden out back? A photo shoot of course!
