I absolutely love checking out new bars and hanging out to try a couple great cocktails. There always seems to be at least one memorable bar that becomes a favorite when I’m exploring a new city. Alley Cat Lounge was the one that did it for me in Savannah. I met up with another solo traveler to enjoy a few drinks with for my final night in Savannah. Just enter the doors found in an alleyway off W. Broughton Street, then go down a flight of stairs.
We grabbed a couple seats at the dimly lit bar and went over the newspaper menu. Very cool! We started off with a couple tasty tiki cocktails, the Mai Tai and Fogcutter. Cheers!
Our bartender took such great care of us and it was a pleasure watching him make a variety of drinks. The couple next to us bought us a couple delicious shots served in cute little tiki cups. Thanks! I also ordered the P/C Southside made with gin, pomegranate, cucumber, mint, and lemon.
The cocktails were incredible, so we had to try a few more.
Alley Cat Lounge was awesome. The cocktails were amazing and the service was excellent. What a hidden gem! It was a great way to end the night. I was finally ready to call it a night and walked back to the hotel. I was heading back home the following afternoon.
