It was a lovely night and we decided to check out the Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco. This area was known as Ground Zero during the Summer of 1967 (The Summer of Love) and hippies use to live here. The culture seems to live on among the high-end boutiques and chic restaurants that are everywhere today.
We decided to meet up with a friend and enjoy a few drinks at Hobson’s Choice. This bar is famous for their housemade fruit punches containing a variety of rums.
They’re good, fruity, and definitely pack a punch! They’ll sneak up on you, so beware. The House Punch is a blend of Silver Rum, Mango, Orange and Pineapple Juices.
Let’s take some shots too! Why not?
Writings and graffiti cover the walls and mirrors of the bathroom.
Our buzz is going strong and we can thank Hobson’s for that. Check it out and try one of their signature housemade punches.
Walk around the area and you can find the Grateful Dead House as well. It’s Jerry Garcia’s former house and it’s located on Ashbury Street. Nice!
