My friend told me about the New York City Beerathon. One ticket included one free beer at 26 bars around lower Manhattan. I was down!
I arrived at the first bar in the early afternoon to claim by punch card. People were already several bars in and wearing uniforms. They really took it seriously! I was up for the challenge!
My friend couldn’t make it until a little later. Some very cool friendly people let me tag along with them for the next few bars. Cheers!
My friend finally met me at bar number 4 or 5. She had some catching up to do! We were determined to make it to every single bar.

What a beer-filled day. We made it to all 26 bars! (Yikes) It took a few meals and running from bar to bar before closing time, but we did it! Whew!
