During the day, it’s all about the pool parties and beach parties. It was hard to narrow down which one to go to, but I decided to check out the Mixmash Pool Party at the National Hotel. The stylish hotel is located in the art deco district of South Beach.

It was a gorgeous day for a pool party! Great vibes, cold drinks, and the Miami sun.
So I talked quite a bit with somebody from Toronto while planning this trip. We found each other on Facebook through a music week group. Brian and I talked for a few weeks before heading down and actually met up at this event. No creepy vibes. This awesome guy ended up becoming a good friend and travel buddy! 🙂

A-Trak came on and it was almost time for me to go. These pool parties go all day long. I was having a great time, but I was actually suppose to go to a beach party.

I made my way back to the hotel. The sun was gonna set soon and I haven’t eaten anything almost all day.
I went to the restaurant located on the 15th floor of my hotel. It was still a bit early and they were just getting ready for dinner service. I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered a cocktail. I was really in the mood for pasta and ordered a fettuccine dish. I finished it with no problems and headed back to my room. It was time to get ready to head out again!
