It was my last day in Miami and I had to catch my flight in a few hours. It was bittersweet. I had such an amazing time, but was looking forward to going home and getting back on a normal sleep schedule. Sleep, what’s sleep?
Once again, I made my way to Mary Brickell Village for lunch before heading o the airport. I came upon Balans Restaurant & Bar. I took a seat at an outdoor table and ordered a bellini.
The Crab Cake BLT sounded good. It was a pan-fried crab cake with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle remoulade on a house baked bun. It was served with a side of citrus tossed greens. I enjoyed it. The crab cake was pretty average, but the bacon was nice and crispy. The chipotle remoulade added some smoky flavor.

I headed back to the hotel and grabbed my luggage. Off to the airport! I didn’t want to leave, but I had to. Of course, I couldn’t leave without taking a few farewell shots 😉
