Sushi Azabu: My First Omakase

Here it is! The dinner that started my sushi omakase seeking obsession. I enjoyed my tasting menu birthday gift at Degustation from my sister so much, I thought it would be cool to try another one. This time, at a sushi restaurant. After some research, I came upon Sushi Azabu and saw that they offered an omakase. What’s an omakase? I soon found out that it was a meal left in the chef’s hands and it would soon spark my interest in trying omakases all over the city.

We arrived for our reservation and the hostess led us downstairs. The sushi bar is tucked under the Greenwich Grill.

The space was small and intimate.
