I always say that there are so many places in Ridgewood that I still have to try. One Saturday afternoon, we went to Raymond’s for a nice weekend brunch. There’s also a location in Montclair.
The menu looked good and I was drawn to Raymond’s Omelette where you can select a couple items for $13 and additional items for another $2 each. Items included goat cheese, Canadian bacon, avocado, wild mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, Vermont cheddar, and applewood bacon.
I went with chorizo and caramelized onions. It came with a side of whole wheat toast and crispy home fries. Good stuff.
I also enjoyed the Iced Green Tea with Honey & Ginger.
We couldn’t resist ordering a side of applewood bacon.
The Norwegian Benedict was really good as well. Poached eggs on top of potato pancakes topped with a rich hollandaise sauce.
Brunch was great and we enjoyed our dishes. I would not mind coming back to try their other dishes and maybe even swing by for lunch one day.
