Missing that Summer weather! Here are more pics from 4th of July weekend in Vermont. After some brewery hopping, it was time to head to the the dock and get ready for a Sunset Sail on Lake Champlain with the Whistling Man Schooner Company. The Friend Ship is located on the first dock near the ECHO Center.
The Sunset Cruise runs around 2 hours and cost $55 per adult. You can also do a private sail for $550. Children under 13 years of age are not allowed unless it’s a private charter.
It was a beautiful sunny day. You can bring your own food and drinks. They have an ice box and provide cups, wine glasses, plates, and cutlery. I brought the howler of Monk of Underhill from Queen City Brewery and shared with everybody.
The Captain was super nice and laidback and shared some history with us.
I met some great people and everybody was just having a good time.
The Captain even let a couple of us steer the boar for a bit. So cool!
In addition to the Sunset Cruise, they offer Daylight, Full Moon, and Starlight Cruises as well. I thought the sunset one was absolutely gorgeous.
I had such an amazing time. This is one activity you don’t want to miss if you’re in Burlington! The boat was so nice, the sail was relaxing, and the crew was incredible. Make sure to reserve a spot on their website. Thank you, Whistling Man Schooner!
