After the Aqua Luna Harbour Cruise and admiring Hong Kong’s skyline, I went to Butler for a couple cocktails. The sophisticated Japanese bar found inside Mody House in Tsim Sha Tsui offers two types of experiences – the cocktail bar on the 5th floor and the whiskey bar on the 6th floor.
5th Floor
I was in the mood for cocktails and took the elevator up to floor 5, but I’m sure their whiskey selection is top notch just another floor above.
I walked into a nice cozy room with a bar and a few booths surrounded by dark wood.

I didn’t make a reservation and they were booked for the night, but they were nice enough to accommodate me and let me sit at the bar to enjoy a couple drinks.
The Japanese Bar
Even though I was heading to Japan after Hong Kong, I already felt like I was there. The staff and finely dressed bartenders were speaking Japanese to everybody. They also serve a Japanese-inspired food menu.

I only had enough time for a couple drinks before my reserved seat was gonna be taken. I tried a specialty cocktail and a seasonal fruit one as well. They were both excellent.

I’m glad I had the chance to check out Butler. The cocktails were awesome, the ambiance was super nice, and the service was wonderful. I used the restroom before I left and they all waited outside for me to say goodbye and gave me a cute keychain as a souvenir. Thank you! I’ll be sure to make a reservation next time to hang out longer and try the food.
I didn’t want to head back to the hotel quite yet and went to Eyebar located on the 30th floor of the iSQUARE shopping mall on Nathan Road.

I ordered a simple cocktail and headed outside on the balcony to check out the view and drink some of my mediocre vodka cranberry.

The crowd was young and the place was fairly busy. I didn’t stay very long.
30th Floor
After a few drinks, I walked back to my hotel. On the way, I had to stop by the Egg Waffle stand for a late night snack.
I was looking forward to going to Macau the next day!
