It was time to pack up and leave Hong Kong. I had such a great time in this vibrant city. It was hectic, crowded, historic, delicious, and absolutely exhilarating! I had a wonderful time in Macau too.

Good Morning
I flagged down a taxi and made my way to Hong Kong International Airport.

Hong Kong International Airport
I still had a couple hours before I had to board my flight. I took a walk around the food court to see the options. It was still early so a few places weren’t open yet. I decided to try Tsui Wah Eatery.

Tsui Wah Eatery
Located in Terminal 1, Departures Level L7, the fast food-style Hong Kong eatery serves milk tea, crispy buns, soups, and other local dishes.

I ordered at the counter, paid, and waited for my food.

Breakfast Menu
I ordered Breakfast Combo B which included hot tea, scallion scrambled eggs, a buttered crispy bun, and satay beef with instant noodles.

Breakfast Combo B
I wasn’t expecting much, but it was all pretty damn good. It was a hearty comforting meal.

After breakfast I walked over to the gate. It was time to board.

HK to JPN
I flew All Nippon Airways (ANA) which is the largest airline in Japan.

ANA
Goodbye, Hong Kong! The flight was estimated to be around 4 hours.

Goodbye, Hong Kong!
We were served a snack and hot meal. I really liked the snack mix.

Snack Time
The in-flight meal was gyudon – simmered beef and onions over rice. The sides included fruit, a cold salad with ham, and noodles that came with a packet of sauce and roasted seaweed. I tried some of it, but wasn’t very hungry. I just wanted to relax and listen to some music.

I couldn’t believe that I was finally going to Japan! See you soon, Tokyo!!!
