We ended up going to Tokyo’s famous Robot Restaurant during our first night. The themed restaurant and bar features a show full of dancers, flashing lights, lasers, robotic monsters, and other quirky characters.
There are scheduled showtimes and we bought our tickets in advance.
It was total sensory overload as soon as we entered.
We hung out in the bedazzled lounge before the show. The ticket included one complimentary drink.
It was time to head downstairs for the show.
I had no idea what we got ourselves into. We were about to find out.
There are a couple meal options you can purchase if you must eat during the show. They offer a Sushi Bento Box and a Beef Bento Box.
There are a few intermissions where you can buy snacks and drinks.
Did the show make any sense? No. Was it super cheesy? Very. Is it a tourist trap? Absolutely. We were still entertained by the crazy randomness though.
