Progressive Field: Extra Innings, Brews, and Sugardale Hot Dogs

After some pastrami hash and pancakes, I made my way back downtown and stopped by The Clevelander Bar & Grill for a couple drinks before the ball game. The weather was perfect and the lively local sports bar has an outdoor seating area and pregame specials.

After a couple beers, I walked over to Progressive Field right down the street to watch the Cleveland Indians and Houston Astros. Another ballpark checked off the list!

Might as well keep the Sunday flow going! I enjoyed the Rally Drum Red Ale, a local brew from Great Lakes Brewing Company and a Sugardale hot dog with Bertman Original Ball Park Mustard – a must when visiting this ballpark!

My seat was in View Box 454, Row B, and it was a great overall view of the ballpark behind home plate. It was a close game and the Indians ended up beating the Astros 10-9 after a thrilling home run on the first pitch in the 14th inning.

I had a lot of fun at Progressive Field and afterwards I went back to the hotel to relax for a bit. I had a dinner reservation later that night at one of Cleveland’s most iconic restaurants by the city’s most famous chef.
