After views from the top of St. Louis’ iconic Gateway Arch and a yummy hot salami sandwich, I went to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery for the Day Fresh Tour, formerly called the Bud Light Tour. The 75 minute tour costs $10 and tickets can be purchased online.
I picked up my ticket at the welcome desk and waited for our guide to begin the tour. The Day Fresh Tour highlights the journey of a beer from how it’s made to the bottling process. Guests get to visit the Budweiser Clydesdale Paddock and historic stables to see the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales.
You also get to see the Beechwood Aging Cellar, the historic Brewhouse, and the BEVO Packaging Facility. There are samples throughout the tour and you get to take home a day-fresh bottle of beer.
At the end of the tour, you receive a voucher for more beer. I hung out at the bar in the restaurant for a bit. The brewery is pretty impressive and to tour the largest and oldest brewery site of Anheuser-Busch was a great experience. Cheers!
After the brewery tour, it was time to head to a bar for bit before the game.
