Vancouver Delights Tour with Landsea Tours & Adventures

After a nice hearty breakfast, I headed back to the hotel where I was picked up for the Vancouver Delights Tour with Landsea Tours & Adventures. I’m all about exploring a new city, but I was only in Vancouver for 3 days and their guided 7-hour Delights Tour was the perfect way to see the beautiful city and its surroundings.

Our tour guide, Tim, met me in the hotel lobby and showed me to the comfortable mini coach. We picked up a few more people and off we went!

We drove through many different areas of Vancouver, including Chinatown and Gastown, the lovely Vancouver Harbour, and scenic, ocean-side English Bay.

Admission to the observation deck of the Vancouver Lookout is included where you can admire scenic 360-degree views of the skyline.

We stepped off the bus to visit Stanley Park and see the Totem Poles and Vancouver Harbour. Very cool.

We continued on a lovely scenic drive to see the Lions Gate Bridge and stunning views at Prospect Point.

Then it was time to check out the famous Granville Island Public Market. We had the opportunity to eat lunch and explore the farmer and artisan market’s delicious offerings.

I enjoyed tasty Thai food, tried some salmon candy, and bought incredible lemon bars to bring back to the hotel.

Wherever I go, exploring local food markets is one of my favorite things to do! The Granville Island Market was great!

After Granville Island, we even learned about the life cycle of the local salmon at the Capilano Salmon Hatchery.

We finished the day at the wonderful Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.

We had plenty of  time to explore the spectacular park where you can enjoy the Cliffwalk, Treetops Adventures with 7 suspended footbridges 110 feet above the forest floor, and of course the Capilano Suspension Bridge that stretches 450 feet across and 230 feet above Capilano River.

Capilano Suspension Bridge

Try the Cliffwalk if you dare. It follows the steep granite face of the cliff along the Capilano River with a labyrinth-like series of narrow bridges, stairs and platforms and only 16 anchor points in the cliff support the structure!

It was an amazing day with Landsea Tours & Adventures! Tim was a great guide who shared a ton of information about the city and offered to take pictures. I’m so glad I had a chance to do this tour! It’s the best way to see various neighborhoods, scenic views, charming attractions, and eat at the public market all in one day. The Vancouver Delights Tour is offered year round with complimentary hotel pick-up. You can book it here.

What a fabulous tour! You got to see ALL the cool things!

Those big tree stumps are all over the lower mainland parks. We used to play on them as kids. They make great forts.
