Leaving El Salvador

We had a great day at the beach the day before and now our time in El Salvador was coming to an end. It was Saturday morning and I had a few hours to check out the hotel’s breakfast buffet and relax by the lovely pool before heading to the airport.

We had a layover in Miami where we all met again briefly before going our separate ways to catch our flights back home. I had a sushi dinner and stayed for a couple beers since my flight to JKF ended up getting delayed a couple times.

It was a wonderful 10 days in El Salvador. I took the opportunity to join an eye campaign and it ended up being one of the best decisions of my life! I worked with an amazing group of people. It felt awesome helping others and working for a good cause with a great organization. I learned new things and made new friends. I explored beautiful sights in a country I never thought I would ever visit. What an incredible experience!
