Hey everyone!
I haven’t posted in a couple weeks. For a second year in a row, I joined the ASAPROSAR Visual Health Campaign down in El Salvador! It was such a wonderful experience helping others and working with an incredible group of people! We completed another successful campaign performing various eye surgeries and helping locals receive eye glasses.
It was lots of hard, but super rewarding. We had a chance to go out for a nice seafood dinner one night.
We enjoyed a beautiful Beach Day at La Libertad where we rented a private house and enjoyed a yummy seafood lunch.
Our last couple days were spent in the capital, San Salvador. The hotel had a gorgeous pool, nice breakfast buffet, and great sangrias! 😉
For our final night in El Salvador, we checked out a local brewery with $5 beer flights, good food, and great music. Cheers!
What a week! It was so nice to catch up with my medical mission friends while making new ones as well. I already miss everybody. Hope to return next year, El Salvador!
