Prague Foodie Tour with Taste of Prague

After a Vietnamese breakfast, it was time for the Prague Foodie Tour with a Taste of Prague! With a small group and our fantastic guide, Anna, we wandered the city ready to eat. After a welcome drink, we were off to the popular local pub, Lokál, for Czech beer and traditional Czech food like beef stew, ham with whipped horseradish, and fried cheese with tartar sauce. Then it was off to Naše Maso, the place I devoured an incredible burger, to try their meatloaf and steak tartare.

I loved the wine bar hidden away within an apartment complex. We sipped Moravian wine and ate open-face sandwiches from Sisters.

Our next stop was Kantýna, a large modern Czech restaurant putting a tasty spin on a traditional Czech neighborhood pub and butcher shop concept. I enjoyed the hearty bites of pork schnitzel and pulled beef served with mustard and pickled veggies.

We had to try a sweet treat as well. We stopped by a bakery for a kolache – a soft buttery brioche roll with a fruit filling on top.

Our final stop on the Prague Foodie Tour was the really cool modern Czech restaurant with a large open kitchen, Eska. We went upstairs and enjoyed a cocktail, some wine, and Czech-inspired dishes prepared in a unique way.

What a tasty day! We had such a nice time with Anna and Taste of Prague. It really was the perfect way to taste and learn what’s happening in Prague’s food scene. Thank you, Anna! If you’re down for some foodie fun in Prague, book this tour!
