It was time to enjoy some local brews after some great pan pizza at Pequod’s. My first stop was On Tour Brewing Company.
I took a seat at the tasting room bar and ordered a flight of some house beers. I’ll usually try at least two IPAs if possible.
After On Tour, I walked to Great Central Brewing Company.
They don’t offer flights, but you can get half pours. I tried an IPA and a double IPA. They were generous half pours. You can receive a discount if you show your ticket for the game.
You can take an elevator if you need to use the restroom upstairs. But beware of the Bean! He scared the living shit out of me!
It was almost game time! It was a short walk to United Center where I watched the New Jersey Devils and Chicago Blackhawks!
My awesome cousin got in touch with some great people so I had access to the Lexus Club level. I enjoyed a refreshing cocktail and tasty Club Burger at the Chicago Stadium Club before heading down to my seat. Thanks, cuz!
I didn’t make it to warmups for this one, but I had a great seat and it was another fun time in another NHL arena. I was nicely welcomed back at the club between periods which was much appreciated.
The Devils took an early two-goal lead, but the Blackhawks came back with a few unanswered goals to win the game.
After the game, I met up with a couple fellow Devils fans from a Facebook group for a bit. Go Devils!
