My first night in Prague included an Italian lunch, a cool beer spa, and ended with some Japanese cuisine. The following morning I went downstairs for a lovely breakfast in the dining room of the apartment complex.
For my second day, I booked a tour with Urban Adventures. Their Prague Discovery Tour was a great way to see the highlights of the city and admire the architectural gems. Our local guide, Kaca, was super nice and gave of loads of information about the city and its history. We walked around Old Town Square and admired the newly refurbished Astronomical Clock – the oldest working clock of its kind in the world!
Along the way, we tried a Czech pastry (kolach), sailed on a replica 19th century sailing ship on the Vltava River, walked across the Charles Bridge, stopped by the John Lennon Wall, and had lunch at a restaurant where I enjoyed Pilsner beer and beef cheeks.
We also saw St. Vitus Cathedral and strolled around Prague’s Old Town, Lesser Town (Malá Strana) and Prague Castle. What a beautiful city!
Kaca was a great guide and we covered quite a bit during the 6-hour tour. Thank you, Kaca! You can book a tour with Urban Adventures here.
